Ladies and gentlemen, family, friends, and fellow Hall of Famers,
Wow. What an incredible honor it is to stand here today. I’ve dreamed about this moment for so long, and I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. First and foremost, I want to thank the Basketball Hall of Fame for this recognition. It’s a true testament to a journey filled with hard work, passion, and dedication.
To my family—my wife, Adrienne, and our beautiful children—you have been my rock. Your unwavering support has kept me grounded through the highs and lows of my career. I love you all more than words can express.
I also want to take a moment to acknowledge my teammates. From my days in Toronto to my time in Miami, each one of you has played a vital role in my career. You pushed me, challenged me, and made me better. Basketball is a team sport, and I’m grateful to have shared the court with such incredible talent. Dwyane, LeBron, thank you for believing in me and for the unforgettable moments we created together.
To the coaches who shaped my game—thank you for your guidance and for teaching me the importance of resilience and hard work. You instilled in me a love for the game that goes beyond statistics and accolades.
