“The Gunners” Arsenal is one of the famous clubs in England, base on North London. Arsenal started out as Dial Square in 1886 by workers at the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich. The club became a limited company in 1893, became the first member of the Football League in the same year, and won promotion to the First Division in 1904. Since 1920 the club has never relegated to second division. In Herbert Chapman’s era since 1925, The club’s golden era was created. His revolutionary tactics and training laid the foundations of the club's domination of English football in the 1930s. In 16 seasons between 1953 and 1969, the club could not win any title before winning its first European trophy in 1970 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup followed by its fist domestic double champion in 1971. However it then could not win any league title in consecutive 17 seasons until 1989. The club's success in the late 1990s and first decade of the 21st century owed a great deal to the 1996 appointment of Arsène Wenger as manager. It holds the record for the longest uninterrupted period in the English top flight with 49 games and are the only side to have completed a Premier League season unbeaten, and holds record most consecutive wins in history of English top-flight with 14 in 2002. The club holds the record longest streak without conceding a goal in international club with 995 minutes achieved in the 2005 - 2006 UEFA Champion League. Arsenal is known as one of the most unfortunately club in European competition, lose in all three major European trophies in very late of the game, two on penalties.
